This is the workshop for you! If I’m being honest…. Sourdough can feel slightly overwhelming when getting started but is so fun and rewarding once you get the hang of the basics. My ‘Beginners Sourdough Workshop’ will teach you everything you need to know in order to start your journey towards successfully baking with sourdough in a fun and casual environment. This is a resource I would have loved to have when I first began my journey\, so I’m absolutely thrilled to offer it to you! \nDuring our 3 hours together\, you will be taken step by step through the hands-on process of making a loaf of homemade\, organic sourdough bread. I will teach you how to simply navigate the sourdough process so that you and your family can enjoy fresh baked goodies for generations to come. We will enjoy locally sourced wine(1 glass each for attendees 21+)\, light snacks\, and freshly baked bread. \nI will provide all of the snacks/drinks as well as the following for each person to take home:\nActive Sourdough Starter + Glass Jar\n1 medium glass mixing bowl\n1 8.5″ banneton basket for proofing + cover\nBench scraper + razor for scoring\nIngredients for your first loaf (we will do all of the prep work together and then you will take home in your new basket so you can bake) \nWhat you need at home to successfully bake your first loaf:\n5qt Dutch oven w/ lid\nParchment paper\n**We will have a few dutch ovens available for purchase in case anyone forgets to buy one prior to the event!** \nOther items you will want for future baking:\nKitchen Scale\nBowl Covers(fabric covers are great or plastic shower caps)\nNarrow spatula(check our handmade oak ones out\, will be available for purchase at event) \nAttendees will also receive access to a private Facebook Group for additional guidance and support!
