The amazingly fun Grape Crusher MONSTER RIDE TRUCK will take daring folks for a thrilling ride and give them a taste of what it is like to be on board a real monster truck! (additional fee required for ride truck) At 5pm\, get up close and personal like no other show you can find at our FREE Pit Party! Check out these beastly machines and allow your kids to touch the monster trucks\, get autographs from the drivers and take photographs! At 6pm the track will clear and engines fire as the real show begins! The monster trucks will start and soar through the air as they crush cars\, show off skills\, take on jumps\, and perhaps daringly leap a full size school bus! Grand Slam mini monster is sure to be your child’s favorite as 13 year old driver Tyler Wind II shows off his skills in this kid sized 1/3 scale monster truck! Professional lawn mower racing will run their championship rounds and an old school modified demolition derby with real cars will entertain fans. For a small $10 entry fee\, your child can have a part in the show by participating in the Kids POWER WHEELS competition (kids must bring their own battery powered vehicles–more details to follow).

On Friday and Saturday\, the event will run from 230pm until 9pm. We will start with a vendor fair\, live music\, food & drink\, and activities for kids. We plan to have a jump pad\, pedal trikes\, dunk tank\, and other fun activities. Grape Crusher Monster Ride Truck is slated to be available for monster truck rides (additional charge applies). A tethered balloon for rides will go up (weather permitting) around 4pm and stay up for approximately 4 hours (exact time dictated by number of riders). A “walk balloon” (balloon that is laid over on its side allowing you to walk inside it) will also be up around that time. There is a possibility of some balloons taking flight around 6 or 630pm\, but dependent upon weather and pilot availability. Near sunset\, the highlight of the event will be the balloon glow\, where all available pilots will stand up their balloons\, ignite their burners\, and make them “glow!” \n🔥A few important details:\n🎈WEATHER: ALL balloon activities are weather dependent!  If it is too windy or raining\, balloons may not be able to go up or may go up but be unable to fly. We will work hard with the pilots to navigate any weather issues but please realize this fact and the fact that it is the same for every balloon festival in the world and we cannot control that! \n🎈BALLOON EXPECTATIONS: If you have never been to a balloon festival\, you may think the balloons are up all day or perpetually fly and land—this is not the case. The tethered balloon and walk balloon will be up the majority of the event. A few balloons may fly off during the event but realize that while watching them fly off is fun\, after they lift off within minutes they are gone and will not be back for at least a couple hours! We try to make sure all balloons are available to do a spectacular glow Friday and Saturday near sunset. \n🎈RIDES-this is a big question! There are 2 types of rides available: tethered rides and chartered flights. Each is booked directly through the pilots—you pay them directly.\n🔥TETHERED rides are a short ride in a balloon that typically goes 25-30 feet up and is tied off to anchors on the ground. These rides are very popular\, last a few minutes\, are purchased in person ON SITE Friday and/or Saturday at the event\, and cost $20/person. All ages are welcome\, but you cannot hold a child (for relatively obvious reasons). If your child is securely strapped to you that will likely be fine.\n🔥CHARTERED flights are available and an entirely different experience. These flights typically occur near sunrise and will be offered at least Saturday and Sunday mornings. These are true chartered flights where you fly up\, up\, and away! The flights usually last 45-60 minutes although the entire experience (briefing with pilot\, optional participation inflating your balloon\, etc) will make it a 3 hour experience. You must apply IN ADVANCE for these flights and be scheduled. The cost is $350/person and payable directly to your pilot. We will also have Bold Rock Hard Cider in flavors such as blackberry\, IPA\, draft\, etc. We will also have a wide variety of non-alcoholic options (water\, soft drinks\, Gatorade\, etc) Food trucks will be available as well as specialty concessions. Grape Crusher Monster Ride Truck will be giving rides all evening. The event kicks off at 4pm and will run until 10pm when the winery closes. Note that the balloon glow will be near sunset and not last all evening. \n  \nOn Saturday\, gates open at 2pm for an entire afternoon of fun! We will open our entire FIELD OF FUN featuring our rides\, slides\, and games for all ages! Live music will be on our big concert stage! Enjoy food trucks and all kinds of beverages! A vendor fair will be available for your shopping pleasure. Grape Crusher Monster Ride Truck will be thrilling riders. Come meet the pilots and check out their balloons or take a tethered balloon ride! A limited number of charter balloon flights will be available. This event will go until 6pm with balloons scheduled for either a glow or flight late in the day (weather permitting). \n  \nPlease note this event is rain or shine. We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule the show to maintain the safety our attendees and participants. ALL HOT AIR BALLON ACTIVITIES ARE WEATHER DEPENDENT!
