We are open year-round and seven days a week (except Easter, Thanksgiving, & Christmas) so that our guests can become more like family whether you are visiting frequently or coming in from out-of-town. Located within 10 miles from the banks of the Rappahannock River, and an hour away from Richmond, Williamsburg, and Fredericksburg, our tasting room offers a fun and friendly atmosphere for you to explore, enjoy, and find a new favorite destination in the Middle Peninsula of Virginia.
Wine Tasting & Flights
Visitors can enjoy our wine three ways while visiting Wind Vineyards at Laurel Grove.
Wine Tastings:
Gathered around the custom bar in the Tasting Room, visitors can enjoy a guided tasting through select varieties of our current wine releases. Once you find the wines that delight you, have our staff pour you a glass and enjoy in the tasting room, on the balcony, or outside on the patio.
Wines Flights:
Relax and enjoy a unique flight of wines at one of the hand-crafted tables inside the tasting room, or head outside to the expansive covered patio to delight in the freshness of rural life. Outside you will find several areas where the kids can roam around and play while the adults share tasting notes of the wines.Â
Wine Bottle Purchase:
Already know your favorite wines and looking forward to spending the day with friends and family? Purchase bottles of wine to enjoy at any available table with your group. Better yet why not join the wine club?!

Winery Tours
Go behind-the-scenes to get a glimpse into our vineyard management and winemaking process. Learn and experience how our wines are grown, harvested, processed, and bottled through our state-of-the-art facility. Reservations are required. Please contact the winery for availability.Â
Signature Events
Wind Vineyards at Laurel Grove is the first of its kind in the region featuring unique events year-round from wine festivals to heritage field-days, motorsports events and concerts featuring national headliner acts. It is our goal to be the premiere Agritourism facility on the East Coast.
